Frayed by Kara Terzis : review.

Frayed
Reading this book felt like peeling an onion, sometimes peeling it veeeeery slowly to reveal the truth. On the one hand I was curious about the plot: a good girl murdered in a small town for apparently no reason at all. On the other hand, I found some parts of the plot quite unrealistic.

These are minor spoilers:

Is it necessary to knock out a classmate of yours and take her to a remote location to reveal some information ? Why does that classmate act just like if she hadn't been attacked at all?
After having been taken care of by a foster mother for 7 years you still call her by her first name?
I think most people would need more than a couple of days to start a new relationship after been cheated twice by your boyfriend (IMO), specially if they guy you are dating now was the first on the suspect list for killing somebody.
If you are thinking of investigating something , for heaven's sake don't talk about doing it over and over again, just do it!
A girl has been murdered and the police haven't searched her house and room thoroughly? No wonder they haven't found the culprit!

In spite of some flaws I found the book entertaining and it would certainly appeal to many readers.
